GearSystem is developed by the same developer who created GearBoy. GearBoy is an emulator for emulating Gameboy games, whereas GearSystem was developed for emulating SEGA games on iOS devices. The name of developer of this emulator is Ignacio Sanchez. He is becoming very famous from a few days due to his fabulous work in iOS field. Apart from these two, he has also created many remarkable iOS applications.
GearSystem can be used to emulate games from almost any SEGA console. Before releasing this version, it was tested by hundreds of beta tester, so that there are no errors remaining to be faced by users. This Beta test was conducted by iEmulators. As it is a completely open-source project, therefore it is also available on various platforms. This means that we cannot only run this emulator on iOS devices. It can be run on any platform.

This is the latest version of this emulator and it was last updated on Feb 16, 2017. This version can run SEGA games from almost any console released till now. It can run ROMs of Master System, Genesis, Game Gear, Sega CD, Sega Pico, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast.
It can even run games from the old and legendary Sega SG-1000.
